This Khichdi recipe is a light and easy to digest Indian dish made with rice and moong dal. Nutritious and light on the tummy, serve this healthy dish with curd, raita or papad.
Soak rice and dal for 30 minutes & drain. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, splutter the cumin seeds, add bay leaf. Pour the measured water and bring to boil, add turmeric, salt, HONEST KHICHDI MASALA, mung dal and rice to this and close the lid. Whistle the cooker for 4 times, and then allow to release the pressure by itself. Serve the khichdi to a serving dish and pour the hot gee on top.
